   5.1 Current surge features

   Referent to IEC6100-4-5 standard, connected resistors to SG-5006G Lightning test instrument, and

used positive and negative voltage to impact calculatedly 10 times, the resistors are not allowed to

break off. The voltage of lightning can be ordered as customer’s requirement.

 5.2 Fusible features:

    When the resistors work with 25 times rated power, the fused time is less than 60 seconds,

    and with 64 times, less than 30 seconds.  

                       

                        Formulation of Fused current I :I =   √25*P*R /R 

                        A figure 25 represents times of rated power

                        Letter P represents resistors rated power

                        Letter R represents resistance value.

6.4 Unexpected Load test

      Test was done according to the requirement of GB5729 terms 4.26.

      Different group of resistors tested was loaded as 2, 3, 5 times of rated watts, the coated silk didn’t

      flame until the resistors broken off.

        from the body to prevent heat loss.
